Fonda San Miguel’s is one of the best authentic Mexican food restaurants in Austin according to several different restaurant reviews. (See below) The restaurant serves delicious traditional Mexican food made with ingredients from their organic garden. The food is absolutely delicious and is much better than the typical Tex-Mex commonly found in Austin. Even if you don’t usually like Mexican food, you will probably like this place because they serve so many kinds of dishes and they are all prepared by two gourmet chefs. This is really fine dining! Also, the building and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The building is made of stucco and the style of architecture is very old-world. So, the building looks like it’s centuries old, but it was actually built in 1975. You will think you are south-of-the-border when you see this place. Inside, the walls are covered with beautiful, artistic paintings. The colors are bright and colorful, but also very beautiful. It’s very romantic! So, go with your sweetheart or go with your friends.
